Why Mountain Area Learning Center?

1.    Integrity – We are a for profit organization operating on the principal of fair energy exchange and full disclosure.  Fees will be negotiated in advance of services, deposits may be required, with payment in full due when services are provided.

2.    Experience – Leadership team has over 100 years combined educational leadership experience.

  • President – 20 years of experience in Technology, 10 years of experience creating and delivering technical training, 15 years experience in Corporate IT Management, 5 years experience in Enterprise IT and Business Consulting across Retail, Manufacturing and CPG vertical industries, 10 years internet marketing and e-commerce applications, PBG President’s Award of Excellence in 2006.
  • Over 100 years combined community service in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area.
  • Over 100 years combined experience building community.

3.    Diversity -  leadership team is comprised of minority individuals from varied educational and experiential backgrounds and faiths.  

Lea Crandall took the helm of the Mountain Area Learning Center in 1992, providing instructor led classroom training in over 30 software titles, custom classes and small business IT consulting for Asheville, NC residents and local businesses.

We now are specializing in providing exemplary computer education for senior citizens in Western North Carolina, US and the mountains of North Wales, UK.

The Mountain Area Learning Center is a place where people of different genders, nationalities, races and religious beliefs work together in an environment of the utmost harmony, courtesy and dignity, to add more and more value to our lives, the lives of our families, the community and the world.
